#MaxNews: Teachers return depends on Labour Commission meeting outcome

Date:

The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT), and the Coalition of Concerned Teachers-Ghana (CCT-GH) have stated they would only return to the classroom if their demands were met.

The Regional Chairman of the CCT-GH, Johnson Kennedy, disclosed this in an interview on Max TV’s Max Morning Show as the three pre-tertiary education labour unions meet with the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission.

According to him, there has been no discussion around the items proposed or the credit valuation adjustment (CVA) presented to the commission.

The aforementioned three pre-tertiary education labour unions were summoned by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission to appear before the labour commission for arbitration today.
