You might be wondering about the title of this article. Yes, the driver of the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, is set to compete in the La Dadekotopon NPP Parliamentary primaries
Joseph Addo submitted his nomination to contest to represent the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which has been duly vetted and approved.
The party opened up nominations for interested candidates after Policy and Management Lecturer Dr. Gerald Joseph Tetteh gave up his candidacy for personal reasons.
Joseph Addo believes he has what it takes to stand for the party in the general elections in December.
“I have deep roots in LA, having been born and raised here. This constituency is not unfamiliar territory to me.”
Addo also remarked on his influence in helping the youth gain employment and the construction of the new party office as part of his achievements for the party.
“I have been instrumental in facilitating employment opportunities for the youth in this area within various government agencies.
Moreover, when the party needed a new office space following the destruction of the old office, I undertook efforts to secure a new office for the party.”
