#MaxEntertainment: KODA to be buried on July 5

Date:

The final funeral rites of the late gospel singer, Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, known in showbiz circles as KODA, will be held on Friday, July 5, at the KICC church on the Spintex Road in Accra.

Announcing this during an observation service on May 10 in Takoradi, the family said the loss of the musician had been a heavy blow for them as well as the industry.

They charged friends, loved ones, and all those who admired KODA’s music to support them at this moment.

The sad news of KODA’s death broke on the internet on Sunday, April 21, 2024, sending shock waves through the gospel industry.

Along with being a vocalist, he was also a producer and created songs like “Nsempii,” “Nkwa Abodoo,” “Yapai,” and “Adorso,” which would forever leave a lasting impression on the Ghanaian music scene.

His songs struck a deep chord with listeners, igniting hope, trust, and belief in the Lord while propelling the Christian faith.

Days after his death, his family created a new website, www.kodasmedia.com, to provide information on his memorial and funeral arrangements.
