Diana Hamilton’s “Awake Experience” performance took place on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) auditorium in Teshie, Accra. It was an incredible night of excitement and music.
Sensational award-winning gospel artiste Diana Hamilton, the brain behind this amazing and inspiring concert, broke records by making it the most successful gospel concert to ever take place.
The night kicked off with a performance by the renowned Daughters of Glorious Jesus. Their elite performance prepared the audience for the iconic Nigerian gospel artist Mercy Chinwo, whose renditions of her hits, such as “Na You Dey Reign,” enthralled the crowd.
However, when Diana Hamilton herself took the stage, there was an actual combustion of joy. As she performed her well-known songs, the auditorium surged with excitement, building to a climax when Mercy Chinwo joined her for their number-one hit song, “The Doing of the Lord.”
The crowd definitely left the auditorium wanting more. All of the greatest Ghanaian gospel artists were there to grace the occasion, making it an unforgettable night to remember. And to top it all off, their managerial skills were impeccable.
The concert featured an ensemble of notable people in addition to gospel artists. Dignitaries from political parties, including Sam Gyata George, Betty Mould Iddrisu, Julius Debrah, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, and Elizabeth Ohene, were all present, contributing to the occasion.
