Veteran Hiplife artiste Big Joe Frazier has lambasted rapper Amerado Burner for rejecting a collaboration with legendary singer, Sidney.
According to him, the rapper was disrespectful, and his act did not auger well for the development of the industry.
Expressing his disappointment in Amerado for refusing to work with Barima Sidney, Joe Frazier said in a recent media interview that it should have been an honor for Amerado to work with Sidney.
He said Sidney was a well-known artiste with back-to-back hit tracks, and it was therefore unwise on Amerado’s side to have allegedly declined that collaboration.
“I’ve heard that one of the new artistes in the game refused to collaborate with Barima Sidney, but I didn’t know that it was Amerado… If truly it was Amerado who did that, then it doesn’t augur well because Barima Sidney is a big boy and he has gotten a lot of hit songs that Amerado doesn’t even come close to,” Big Joe Frazier stated.
He further expressed his disappointment for Amerado, who had few hit tracks under his name, to refuse such a collaboration with the idea that Sidney was using him to resurrect his dead career.
“Amerado is having 3 or 4 hit songs and Barima Sidney has multiple hits even before I started doing music so it’s even nice for such a legend to consider you for a verse. There are a lot of new artistes in the game so it’s even a privilege for you to have been chosen by such a veteran and you have to do it with some eagerness and love.”
“For you to think that he’s no more relevant and so he wants to use you to rekindle his dead career then I think unless it’s not the case but I don’t expect that from Amerado,” Big Joe Frazier added.
