Max TV, the number one telenovela station in Ghana, has once again promised its soap opera fans to air another infidelity tale, “The Broken Marriage Vow.”
The series promised to get viewers entertained and educated on the ways infidelity can ruin healthy relationships.
It followed the British drama series Doctor Foster, in which the Philippines happened to be the sixth country in the world to have adapted the hit drama from the United Kingdom.
Filmed in the year 2021, it was released in the year 2022 in the Philippines by the ABS-CBN Kapamilya channel to tell the intriguing story of a seemingly perfect family that gets shattered by broken trust and infidelity.
Dr. Jill Illustre’s life unravels when she discovers her husband has a mistress who happens to be the daughter of one of her patients.
They live in Baguio, a small but affluent resort town where the people know themselves and secrets are hard to hide. Jill is incensed when she learns that all of her mutual friends and colleagues are aware of David’s indiscretions and are keeping them from her.
She soon sees photos of her husband, David, and Lexy as a couple socializing with their friends. Her anger reaches a tipping point when she discovers that Lexy is pregnant.
A chain of events follows, resulting in catastrophic effects on the lives of the couple, their son, and everyone else involved.
The show, directed by Connie Macatuno and Andoy Ranay, stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Zanjoe Marudo, Sue Ramirez, and Zaijian Jaranilla.
The show promises to be thrilling, exciting, and entertaining as Max TV presents the story of a woman scorned.
