As part of its agenda to bolster viewer interest, Max TV is set to bring another Filipino epic romantic story dubbed “Two Wives” this Monday, October 9, at 7:00 p.m.
Two Wives replaces Guardian of Beauty, a Chinese romantic drama that ended on Friday.
It is a drama that tells an extraordinary story of infidelity about Victor, who is married to Yvonne and has a son with her. They are the epitome of a happy family until Yvonne discovers that her husband is having an affair with another woman named Janine, who is a single mother.
Janine came into the life of Victor when the latter’s failed business compelled him to work on her flower farm. He is driven to accept her other obnoxious job offer, which is to pretend to be the father of her daughter.
At the discharge of his duty, Victor gradually develops feelings for Janine, which leads him to break up with his wife, Yvonne. He quickly married Janine after his divorce. However, their marriage did not endure as dark clouds whistled with an omen.
Victor gets into a fatal accident and suffers amnesia. Fortunately or unfortunately, as he loses all of his memories about Janine, he still has his memories of Yvonne and believes he is still married to his ex-wife.
Yvonne, who has moved on with Albert, a man who appeared as her shining knight and armor, now makes a U-turn to return to her former husband in hopes of giving her son a bright future with his real father.
Now clung to his past with his ex-wife, who is pretending to be his current wife, dumping Albert for Victor, what does fate hold for Yvonne if Victor regains his memories?
