The Transition Team of the President-elect for the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has announced a strong five-man anti-corruption drive team for Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).
According to Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Spokesperson for the Transition Team, this is as a result of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama’s pledge to retrieve possessions and proceeds of corruption.
Persons found culpable would face the full force of the law when the President-elect assumes office after January 7, 2025.
Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwah (Chairman), Mr Daniel Domelovo (Ex Auditor General), COP (Rtd) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye, Mr Martin Kpebu (Lawyer), and Mr Raymond Archer (Investigative Journalist) make up the five-man team selected by Mr Mahama.
The President-elect, by this action, has clearly exhibited his willingness to clamp down on certain corruptive practices in the country.
