New York 3x Filthy Than Ghana—Lekzy Decomic

Date:

Popular Ghanaian Stand-up Comedian, Lekzy Decomic has expressed the need for the country to shape the narrative and perception about Ghana with the use of the creative arts sector.

According to him, Nigerians have used their creative art to change the narrative and perception about their country, a line he believed Ghana could toe.

Speaking in an interview with Max Morning Show in Accra on Monday, Lekzy Decomic stated that all the beautiful scenes and ideas people have about America were foggy.

“I have been to America before, and what we see about America are all smoke pictures. I went to the streets of New York and I saw how filthy the place was. It’s three times more filthy than Ghana, but they have used art, movies and other things to change perception about the country,” he stated.
