Max Morning Dew: Cohabitating with a man leads to psychological slavery – Counselor Hanson

Date:

Renowned Counselor Emelia Hanson has warned women not to lewdly and lasciviously cohabitate with a man they are not married to.

Cohabitation is the act of living and having a sexual relationship with someone you are not married to.

Though cohabitation has been praised widely as a test drive for marriage, however, the counselor said women are at the losing end when they live and have a sexual relationship with a man they are not married to.

Speaking in an interview with Kojo Addison on Max Morning Dew in Accra on Tuesday, Emelia advised women to disregard the mentality that living under the same roof with a man was means to secure their relationship.

She termed that as a “psychological slavery” which lures many women to invest their emotions, time and resources into a relationship which might not yield.

The Counselor said the act paves way for men to bluff, adding that “it doesn’t propel them to marry since they get all the satisfaction they would have gained when married.”

She underscored the need for women to value themselves and allow themselves to “be found.”

“When the foundation is wrong, everything is wrong so you have to start right, value yourself and know that there are repercussions with cohabitation,” she added.
