According to reports, Accra Hearts of Oak is in discussions to select Rene Hiddink as their next Technical Director.
Following the mutual departure of David Ocloo, the team is without a significant technical staff.
Hiddink, the younger brother of legendary coach, Guus Hiddink, is slated to take over the club as the new technical director as part of the club’s strategy to bolster their team ahead of the upcoming season.
Hiddink, a retired football player, has extensive experience coaching teams in the Netherlands, Rwanda, Madagascar, and the Maldives. He previously worked as the assistant coach for the Maldives national team.
