MAX EPL 2023/24: Jordan Ayew suffers injury in Crystal Palace’s loss

Date:

In the English Premier League match between Crystal Palace and Aston Villa over the weekend, Ghanaian international Jordan Ayew suffered an injury.

The Black Stars forward, who has been Crystal Palace’s star player thus far, was taken off on Saturday when his team lost 3-1 at Villa Park. He played for barely 25 minutes total.

After taking a knock during the game, Ayew became uncomfortable and had to be replaced by Jean-Phillipe Mateta.

Given that he has been the club’s spark plug this season, his loss is a significant setback to Crystal Palace. This week should reveal the injury’s full extent.
