The second round of qualifying matches for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) gets underway this Tuesday, September 29th.

No fewer than 17 matches are scheduled across the continent, with several major African nations looking to bounce back after their first outings, some more successful than others.

Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria, and Ivory Coast will be aiming for their second consecutive victory, while Egypt and Senegal will be looking to respond after their opening draws.
