Lionel Messi has won the Major League Soccer (MLS) Golden Boot at the age of 38.

The Argentine legend adds to his record-breaking accolades as he continues to defy expectations in American soccer.

Messi saw off the challenge of Gabon’s and Los Angeles FC’s Denis Bouanga with 29 goals and 18 assists to win the Golden Boot.

Messi’s individual legacy is staggering. He has now earned over 110 individual awards across his career.
