The Lakers are looking to add Walker Kessler from Utah Jazz, who reluctant to let their star center leave to LA.
Alongside Doncic’s move, Maxi Kleber also joins from Mavericks, and Markief Morris making a return to the showtime side.
“The Mavericks approached the Lakers recently and offered Luka Doncic, sources tell ESPN. Lakers brass met and believed the 25-year-old Doncic has the ability to be the face of their franchise for the next decade while giving Anthony Davis a win-now move in Dallas,” ESPN senior NBA reporter, Shams Charania, posted on social media.
