It was intentional – LilWin reacts to poorly written press statement

Date:

Kumawoood actor turned producer Kwadwo Nkansah, known in showbiz as LilWin, says his recent press statement is to project the premier of his movie “A Country Called Ghana” and deny that his management team is not up and doing.

He said the statement was intentionally crafted to create a buzz around his movie, slated to premiere in Kumasi on Saturday, May 25.

In an Instagram post to clarify why his team put up a statement full of grammatical errors and funny wording, the actor indicated that the press statement was put up per his order to attract attention to him and subsequently to his latest movie from his production.

“Negativity trends… I intentionally asked my team to put out a statement with such grammatical errors to see the reaction of Ghanaians. True to my intentions, Ghanaians reacted as much as expected. It was all to promote “A Country Called Ghana,” he explained.

LilWin’s management issued a statement issued a statement on Monday, May 20, announcing the suspension of the actor’s media tour ahead of his movie premiere in Kumasi.

The statement was fraught with grammatical errors, poor diction, and the wrong usage of words, coupled with incomplete sentences.

This attracted negative comments from social media users, while many called on the actor to employ the services of a professional to maintain the integrity of his brand.
