Kumawood actor Big Akwes says nothing will make him divorce a cheating partner.
According to him, some women intentionally cheat to make a man act upon it to deprive the man of his properties and assets.
Big Akwes said this during a discussion on Max Morning Show in Accra on Thursday, where he stated categorically that he would never divorce his wife when he found her cheating.
He noted that women stood the chance of gaining everything a man has labored so hard for if a man initiates the divorce process.
The comic actor stated that he would only order his wife to change the bedsheets if found having an affair on his bed but would never divorce her.
Using Asamoah Gyan and Odartey Lamptey as a case study, Big Akwes said the court blotted out the cheating side of the story to concentrate on the assets and the properties the man acquired when the woman was performing her wifely duties.
Against this backdrop, Big Akwes indicated that he would never divorce a cheating wife.
“However, I will only divorce my wife if she insults my manly nature. For that one, even sleeping with her will not make me feel alright. It will become like an abomination as those insults will butcher my emotions, but for cheating, forget it,” he added.
