The president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has commended the Black Queens for their achievement at the 2024 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

He spoke at the arrival of the Queens at the Kotoka International Airport in the early hours of Monday, July 28, 2025, where they were met with a rapturous welcome by fans.

“We are very appreciative of what they have done. The turnout here [airport] speaks volumes of the desire and wants of the country. And they have provided their wants for our loving fans and for the entire sporting population,” Mr. Okraku said to the press.
