Renowned gospel musician, Perez Musik has disclosed that he became born again after an industry person snatched his girlfriend.
The incident, he said left him heartbroken and had to cleave to God to repair his heart.
Perez Musik confessed this in a recent media interview.
“The truth is it started with a heartbreak. At that point it was very painful. I have never told the story before but I will say it without mentioning names. Somebody in the industry was hitting on my girlfriend back then.
“I brought my girlfriend to visit the office, when I turned, my friend took my girlfriend’s number. The next time, they were talking and this was someone who was my buddy-buddy that’s why I don‘t make friends,” he said.
Narrating how he discovered their betrayal, Perez Muzik said he one day went out with the said friend and took his phone to make a call, only for him to discover his girlfriend’s photo on his friend’s phone.
Seeing that, he said he cut ties with the two and turned to God, stressing that since he got born again, he has reveled in the peace and joy that come with the serving of God.
