Kumawood actress Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu has lauded her husband for playing a vital role in her successful career as an actress, producer, and singer.

According to her, her husband, Nana Agyemang Badu Duah, added value to her life and made all her dreams come to fruition.

Speaking in a recent interview with Max Morning Show in Accra during her musical tour, Mercy Asiedu said Nana Duah, after meeting her, promised to help her excel in her field.

“When I met him, he told me that he already knew me as an actress, and he was not in my life to destroy the career I have built but will rather propel me to achieve more. He asked me what I would need to help my career, so I asked him for money and equipment to set up my own production, and he did that,” she stated.

Mercy Asiedu further stated that Nana Duah once again built a film village for her.

That, she said, had enabled her to do better productions and provide quality set-up for her movies and series that she was currently producing.
