The minister for communications, digital technology and innovations, Hon. Samuel Narteh George, has announced an increase of mobile data in Ghana.
He fulfils one of the promises he made when he took office as minister after his political party, the National Democratic Congress, came into power.
Hon. George, who doubles as the member of parliament for Ningo-Prampram, has, since taking office, come under scrutiny, mostly due to his outspoken nature while he was in the opposition.
Data bundles across the mobile networks in Ghana has seen a significant increase at affordable prices.
The next targeted objective is the reduction of DSTV subscription fees.
