As part of activities marking a week-long cleanup exercise of the Ablekuma North constituency, Hon. Kalamu Musa Adamu oversaw the beautification of its principal streets.
Hon. Kalamu Musa Adamu, the Municipal Chief Executive of the Ablekuma North Municipality, called on constituents to partake in the week-long exercise which began on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
The Dr Busia highway from the Dansoman Hansonic road received a facelift as the curves of these principal streets were uniquely painted white and black.
“The painting is going to cut across all the electoral areas of Ablekuma North,” he said, while encouraging constituents to help maintain the cleanliness of the municipality.
Reacting to questions on the non-functioning traffic lights, Hon. Adamu assured, upon discussions with the ECG Bortianor district manager, they will be fixed.
“He has given me assurance that his boys will come around to inspect the traffic lights. I am very sure by close of day [December 19, 2025] the traffic lights should start functioning,” he said to Michael Mensah Martey of Max TV.
On the issue with the streetlights, he disclosed a contractor, given the responsibility of fixing them, has already begun work from the Obestebi roundabout to the Dr Busia highway.
