Hohoe United Football Club (FC) is on the brink of sealing a historic qualification from the Access Bank Division One Zone Three League to the Ghana Premier League.
The Hohoe-based team has a healthy five-point lead on top of the second-place team, Port City FC, on the league table with three games to go.
Hohoe United currently have 63 pts, as against 58 pts for Port City. This definitely is a true reflection of strategic hard work, good recruitment policy and proper investment into the club’s playing infrastructure over the past two seasons.
For the people of the Volta region, this will be a great milestone, as the region will have two teams to compete in next season’s Premier League.
