Ashantigold brushed off King Faisal as they beat them 2-0 in a Ghana Premier League (GPL) Week 20 game.
The match which was played at the Obusai Len Clay Stadium saw the miners strike first.
A foul on the edge of the King Faisal penalty box was beautifully planted into the net by Kamaradini Mamudu to make it 1-0.
The power and precision of the ball went straight past the goalkeeper.
Ashgold went into the halftime break with a 1-0 lead.
After the recess, the Miners continued to dominate and went in search of a second goal that will kill the game.
That came in the 80th minute when Isaac Opoku Agyemang beat the offside trap to beat goalkeeper Frank Boateng.
The game eventually ended 2-0 in favour of Ashantigold.
