GPL Wk14: Mfegue scores as Kotoko pip Medeam

Cameroonian striker George Mfegue scored the only goal as Kotoko beat Medeama 1-0 in a Ghana Premier League(GPL) match day 14 game.

The game which was played at the Baba Yara Stadium saw Kotoko start explosively but Medeama goalkeeper Boris was brilliant in the post.

Medeama had their own chances in the game but were unable to go past Danlad Ibrahim.

The second half opened up more as both went in search of a goal.

It was the Porcupine Warriors that found the all important goal as George Mfegue showed determination to win the ball from Medeama and unleashed a brilliant strike into the net.

The game eventually ended 1-0 in favour of Kotoko and this means that they lead the Ghana Premier League table with 30 points, six better than Aduana in second place.
