On game day four of the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League (GPL) , Great Olympics gave King Faisal their fourth consecutive loss.
After losing to Berekum Chelsea and Aduana Stars earlier in the season, the Insha Allah team entered the game looking for their first victory of the campaign.
Although Great Olympics drew with Hearts of Oak in the Accra derby, they turned things around and started winning.
The first half of the game, which featured tight play between the two sides, finished in a tie.
In order to give Great Olympics three points in this game, Emmanuel Mensah broke the tie in the 65th minute.
King Faisal is now at the bottom of the Ghana Premier League standings following their third straight loss.
After this victory, Great Olympics have moved to the top of the league standings.
Since taking over as head coach, Coach Yaw Preko has had two victories and one tie in the current season.
