After using every tool at their disposal to defeat a tenacious Great Olympics team 2-1 at the Nana Konamansah Park on Sunday, February 12, 2023, Nsoatreman FC maintained their nearly unblemished home record.
Nsoatreman hoped to pick up where they left off after losing 2-0 to league-leading Aduana FC.
Aryeetey Ayikwei of Preko’s team scored the opening goal at Nsuatre after 10 minutes.
A minute later, Man of the Match Baba Mahama scored an equalizer for Nsoatreman.
In the 33rd minute, Nana Kwame Jr. headed in a kick from Emmanuel Kotei to give Mumuni’s team the lead just before halftime.
In order to assure their return to the winning track in the second half, the home team successfully resisted the attacking threats of the Accra-based team.
On the League standings, both teams are tied with 23 points. Nsoatreman are ranked 12th, but Great Olympics are ranked 10th with a better goal differential.
