The reigning champions of the Italian Serie A, Napoli, have confirmed that Victo Osimhen will miss Nigeria’s international friendly encounter against Ghana and Mali due to an injury.
The Nigerian international failed to make an appearance for the Napolitans against Inter Milan on Sunday, despite being named on the bench at the San Siro.
Francesco Calzona, interim manager of the Italian champions, confirmed he has an inflammation of the scar from an old injury.
The Super Eagles will take on Ghana at the Grand de Stade Marrakech on Friday, March 22.
The three-time African champions will face Mali four days later at the same venue.
