According to reports, Libyan club Al Ta’awon is offering Asante Kotoko star Richmond Lamptey $40,000 as an incentive money.
The Libyan club reportedly wanted to use $100,000 to acquire Lamptey from Kotoko, but they are now willing to pay him a portion of the money as an incentive if he does not sign a new contract.
Lamptey’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, as Al Ta’awon is also willing to give him a salary of $7,000.
Kotoko has in their determination to keep their star are offering him a contract extension worth GHC 8,000 per month.
