The Ashanti North Region of the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWL) has held an awards ceremony to honor some of its outstanding customers in the region for their loyalty and prompt payment of water bills to the service provider.
Ten customers, made up of four domestic users, three standpipe customers and two commercial customers, including Adonko Bitters Company and an institution, were honored.
The occasion was used to strengthen the partnership between the water company and its customers and to foster a sense of community and shared responsibility in water conservation.
The Regional Chief Manager of the GWL, Theophilus Tawiah Collins, expressed the company’s gratitude to the customers for their continued support and reliability which, he said, played a crucial role in the sustainability of water supply in the region and the operations of the company.
“We are proud to celebrate our loyal customers who have demonstrated exceptional commitment over the years. Your prompt payments ensure that we can continue to provide quality water services to the entire community,” he said.
