GFA vice: I don’t listen to noise about Otto Addo

Date:

Mark Addo, vice president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) , has said that he doesn’t pay attention to criticism of Black Stars coach Otto Addo’s work.

Following the terrible performance of the Black Stars, Coach Addo has received criticism. In their September friendlies, the Black Stars overcame Nicaragua 1-0 but fell to Brazil by a score of 3-0.

Mark Addo acknowledges that despite the Black Stars’ dismal recent record, Otto Addo’s coaching abilities cannot be assessed in light of Ghana’s recent results.

He believes that the coach’s capacity for taking accountability suffices as evidence of his diligence.

“I don’t listen to those noises, the reason being that you can’t just judge a person on one game. The coach admitted his mistakes and it’s a mark of great leadership,” Mark Addo said on an Accra-based FM station.

The 32 teams who made it to the FIFA World Cup 2022 were ranked, with the Black Stars coming in last.
