GFA DC Fines Accra Lions GHC5K for Social Media Misconduct

Date:

The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Disciplinary Committee has fined Accra Lions GH¢5000 for improper social media commentary about match officials.

Following their 1-0 loss to Dreams FC at the Tuba Astro Turf, Accra Lions made posts implying external interference in the game’s outcome. The Disciplinary Committee ruled that these comments tarnished the image of the game.
