FOOTBALL: Kumasi to host the 29th GFA Congress today

Date:

The 29th Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to take place today in Kumasi, specifically at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology.

The Congress will be held in Kumasi to honor the football-crazy supporters in the Ashanti Region, especially Asanteman, who have shown a tremendous amount of support for the national teams, including the Black Stars. By selecting Kumasi, the GFA intends to inspire other soccer enthusiasts to “BringBackTheLove” for the game.

The Minister of Youth & Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif, and other distinguished personalities from the Ashanti Region are expected to attend the Congress.

All delegates have received the Convocation, which includes the agenda, activity report, audited accounts, and other relevant documents. It’s great to hear that all members have confirmed their participation and have sent their delegates, ensuring a successful 29th session of Congress.

The Congress is scheduled to commence at 9:00 am. It promises to be a significant event for the Ghana Football Association and the football community as a whole.
