Ex-Abusuapanyin Tupac Purported Caveat On Akosua Serwah’s LA Is False

Date:

The alleged caveat, which was said to have been imposed on Akosua Serwah Fosuh, the widow of the late Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, by the former Ekuona Family Head Victor Kofi Owusu, aka Tupac, is not officially administered.

According to sources, the court has not received such documents from the dethroned Abusuapanyin.

The Counsel of Akosua Serwah has also not received such a letter or court document as purported to have been established in a press statement that circulated online in the name of Tupac.

In the fake document, Tupac was still referred to as Abusuapanyin and was using the Ekuona Royal Family of Parkoso address, while the family had a new Abusuapanyin.

It could be recalled that the said document stated that in “pursuant to order 66 Rule 11 of the Ghana High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules, 2004 (C.I.47) as amended by C.I. 87, a caveat has been duly filed to prohibit the granting of probate or letters of administration in respect of the estate of Charles Kwadwo Fosuh a.k.a. Daddy Lumba (deceased) without proper notification and involvement of the caveator.”

The caveat, the statement said, arose from the Letters of Administration filed by the widow on December 22, 2025, together with the Supplementary Affidavit in support filed on January 12, 2026.

It further stated that Tupac found some inaccuracies and misrepresentation in the said LA and his action to impose a caveat on the LA filed by Akosua Serwah.

However, everything turned out to be false, and the former Abusuapanyin had not served the court with such a caveat since he had already accepted defeat of him being destooled and also lacked the traditional right to fight a widow over her late husband’s properties distribution and ownership.
