Liverpool’s Colombian superstar Luis Diaz has finally been reunited with his released father after he was captured by rebels last month.
The rebel group, National Liberation Army (ELN) disclosed it kidnapped the winger’s parents for a ransom.
The group released Luis Manuel Diaz, father of the Liverpool star, last Thursday after it had released his mother, Cilenis Marulanda, days earlier.
Diaz flew back to Colombia for national duty ahead of a 2026 World Cup qualifier against Brazil on Thursday.
