Shatta Wale has described his recent success in Jamaica as a victory not just for himself but for all Ghanaians.

Speaking live from Kotoka International Airport to Max TV upon his return, the dancehall king expressed his gratitude to fans and emphasized the unity and pride his achievements bring to Ghana.

“This is not just my win; it’s a win for Ghana. It shows that our music can resonate worldwide,” Shatta Wale said during the interview. He thanked his fans for their unwavering support, adding that their energy inspires him to aim higher and continue elevating Ghana’s music on the global stage.

Reflecting on his groundbreaking performance alongside Jamaican dancehall icon Vybz Kartel, Shatta Wale noted the historic significance of their collaboration in bridging Ghanaian and Jamaican music. The overwhelming support he received in Jamaica—where close to 10,000 fans gathered to welcome him—and the grand reception at Kotoka International Airport highlight the universal appeal of his artistry.
