Accra High School has been upgraded with a healthcare center courtesy of the Queen Mothers Foundation Ghana.
The school, located in the heart of Accra, with a population of over 2,000, had a small healthcare facility which had, over the years, struggled to serve the students.
The Queen Mothers Foundation Ghana is a Not-for-Profit Organization that aims at improving lives.
Led by Queen Mother Nana Ama Seiwaa Bonsu, an alumna of the school, aside from also stocking the new facility with the required medical equipment and other pharmaceutical items, she assured similar benevolence of the Queen Mothers Foundation Ghana would be extended to other schools.
Evelyn Sagbil Nabia, headmistress of Accra High School, expressed immense gratefulness for the kindness of the contributions.
“We are grateful for your continuous annual donations, which have had a positive impact on teaching and learning,” she said.
