Borussia Dortmund have announced the sacking of manager Nuri Sahin after their loss to Bologna in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Nuri Sahin, a former captain and a fan favorite of the Black and Yellow side, took over from Edin Terzic, who led them to the 2023-24 Champions League final.
There are obvious signs of a decline at the club, especially after sufferings defeats in a row in January, and also winning once in their last nine away games.
Dortmund now feels it is time to rethink the whole strategy of the club and is now on a hunt for a substantive coach.
Borussia Dortmund and Nuri Sahin are parting ways with immediate effect.
