DOL ZONE ONE PLAYOFF CHAMPIONSHIP: BAC Group donates to Bofoakwa Tano & Eleven Wonders

Date:

Ahead of the National Division One League play-off between Bofoakwa Tano and Eleven Wonders on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the Accra Sports Stadium, it will be live on MAX TV.

The BAC Group, led by Dr. Ernest Koranteng, in collaboration with their sponsor of the ‘All Star Festival,” Twellium Industries Company Ltd., led by Sale and Marketing Manager Kendrick Yehowada, presented some items consisting of packs of Verna Mineral Water and Run Energy drinks to Bofoakwa Tano and Eleven Wonders on Sunday afternoon as motivation for the make-or-break tie in the capital city for a premiership ticket.

Also, the kind gesture by the BAC Group is to appreciate Bofoakwa Tano for agreeing to engage B.A. United in a Brong Ahafo derby curtain raiser on the 21st of June, 2023, at the Sunyani Coronation Park during the ‘All Star Festival’ in the Bono, Bono-East, and Ahafo regions next month.

Speaking after the donation exercise, the CEO of the BAC Group praised the technical handlers of both clubs for working hard in the Division One League to come this far.

“We’re all proud of your achievements in the last few years. Indeed, consistency and hard work pay off. “Congratulations to both of you”.

Also in attendance for the donation exercise were the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association Chairman, Mr. Ralph Gyambrah, and other esteemed football administrators from the region.

With Nations FC and Kpando Hearts of Lions having picked two of the three available slots for next season’s Ghana Premier League after winning Zone 2 and Zone 3 of the Division One League, respectively, the focus has been shifted to Zone One, which has been split into Zones ‘A’ and ‘B’ for various reasons to allow for smooth running.

Eleven Wonders won Zone One A, while Bofoakwa Tano finished at the top of Zone One B.

Hoping to join the current seven clubs from Zone One competing in the Betpawa Premier League, including Tamale City, Bechem United, Real Tamale United, Legon Cities, Berekum Chelsea, Nsoatreman FC, and Aduana FC, An automatic eighth ticket is assured for the zone, bearing in mind that the Betpawa Premier League relegation cut does affect the above-mentioned clubs already enjoying Premier League football.
