The 2022 Division One League Super Cup champions are Liberty Professionals.
The team known as the Scientific Soccer Lads faced off against Nsoatreman FC in today’s championship game of the Super Cup competition for the top teams in the lower level.
Both teams put on a tremendous performance that thrilled spectators in a match that lived up to expectations.
However, Liberty Professionals had the upper hand and made sure to respond by scoring in the first half.
Nsoatreman FC scored a quality goal in the 34th minute through Seedorf Asante, leaving the team behind at the break.
Despite starting the second half with a determined effort, the squad was unable to come back.
Liberty Professionals played excellent defense and prevailed by a slim margin to win the DOL Super Cup.
