Great Ambition FC, the newly crowned champions of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) Middle League, will mark their historic promotion to the Ghana Division One League with a “Champions Walk” on Friday, July 4 at 15:30 GMT.
The walk will start from Longview Winery and Mini Mart, serving as both a celebration and rallying point for fans, supporters, and the community.
Club President Mr. Kingsley Ansong, popularly known as Akratie, described the promotion as a major milestone for the club, which has steadily risen through the ranks of regional football.
“This is a dream come true for Great Ambition FC. The entire team, management, and fans have worked tirelessly to get here. But we’re not stopping — Division One is another chapter that requires greater support,” said Akratie.
He used the moment to appeal for sponsorship and partnership as the club prepares for the 2025/26 Division One League season.
“We are calling on corporate Ghana, local businesses, and football enthusiasts to support Great Ambition FC. This is the time to invest in grassroots football and help push local talent onto bigger stages,” he urged.
The “Champions Walk” is expected to draw a large crowd in celebration of the club’s achievement and to kick off preparations for the Division One campaign.
The club’s journey has been strongly backed by sponsors such as Anamoah Farms and Nobility Concept, and Akratie is hopeful that more sponsors will join the mission as Great Ambition FC steps into national football.
With the momentum of their Middle League triumph, Great Ambition FC is ready to compete and make a mark in Division One — with determination, community pride, and the right backing.
