The draw for the 2026 World Cup is expected to take place on December 5 in Las Vegas.
FIFA has decided on the American city after ruling out venues in Canada and Mexico. The tournament will be played across the three countries next year.
There will be 48 teams participating in the 2026 edition of the World Cup – an increase from 32.
“December 5, if I’m not mistaken, is precisely the day the draw takes place, or at the beginning of December,” Pachuca executive Pedro Cedillo said.
“I understand it will be in Las Vegas, and that’s where we need to be present to provide information about the city of Pachuca, the state of Hidalgo and the two venues we have.”
The Black Stars of Ghana are currently on top of the qualifying Gorup I on 15 points, with Comoros following closely on 13 points.
