Dreams Football Club picked up all three points in match day two of CAF Confederation Cup thanks to a 2-1 over Rivers United on Sunday afternoon at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The boys from Dawu took the lead in the 35th minute thanks to a strike from experienced striker John Antwi.
Even though Rivers United played well after falling behind, they were behind at the end of the first half.
Following the break, Dreams FC put in a lot of effort to score an insurance goal through Aziz Issah.
However, although Alex Ayowah gave Rivers United a late-game consolation, it was insufficient to prevent the group from losing on the road.
Dreams Football Club moved up to second place in the CAF Confederation Cup Group C standings with their first victory in two games.
