Black Stars End 2025 With Defeat to Korea

Date:

The Black Stars of Ghana have ended the 2025 FIFA football calendar with a defeat to South Korea.

Otto Addo’s men were subjected to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of their Asian counterparts at the Seoul International Stadium on Tuesday morning.

Hearts of Oak’s shot-stopper Benjamin Asare returned in goal for the Black Stars after missing the game against Japan last Thursday.

Medeama SC’s Prince Owusu and Viktoria Plzen’s Prince Kwabena Adu made their international debut, impressing the Ghanaian fans.

Lee Tae-seok’s 63rd-minute header secured the win for the Koreans despite the Black Stars’ good display and Asare’s penalty save.

Prince Kwabena Adu and Jonas Adjetey saw their goals ruled out for offside as the Koreans held on for the win.
