Legendary Manchester United player Peter Schmeichel expressed displeasure of the club’s decision to sign Antony rather than Mohammed Kudus.
Much of Schmeichel’s criticism is the players’ performance after coming to England, with special attention paid to Kudus’ outstanding Premier League debut season.
While Antony is still having trouble since joining United, the Ghanaian midfielder has been an exceptional player, netting 10 goals across all competitions for West Ham.
“There’s something about that boy [Kudus], he’s special. I don’t get it, if he [Ten Hag] knows these boys very well, why did he pick Antony ahead of Kudus?”
