The Black Queens of Ghana suffered a 1-0 defeat to Ivory Coast in an international friendly on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in Abidjan.
Following a 3-3 draw in the first leg in Abidjan, the two sides went head-to-head once again as they sharpened each other ahead of the 2025 WAFCON.
The Black Queens had been camping in preparation for the WAFCON, which is scheduled to come off from July 5 to 26 in Morocco.
Ouedraogo Habibou scored the only goal of the game in the 53rd minute. Coach Kim Lars Björkegren’s Queens battled hard to restore parity but were unsuccessful as Ivory Coast walked away the winner after both legs.
