Black Princesses Set Up Third Round Clash Against South Africa

Date:

The Black Princesses of Ghana are through to the next round of qualifications for the FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup.

Charles Sampson’s Princesses marched on after completing a 4-0 aggregate win over Tunisia on Sunday, September 28, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Mercy Attaborah, arguably the star player of the qualifying round, added to her tally with a goal against Tunisia in the 37th minute after scoring both goals in the first leg days ago.

Agnes Yeboah rounded off the win in the 45th minute to set up a third-round two-legged clash against South Africa scheduled for February 2026.

South Africa defeated neighbours Eswatini 9-0 over two legs to meet the Black Princesses.
