In preparation for his foundation’s blood donation campaign in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education and Sport Studies (PESS) at the University of Ghana, Ghanaian international football player Bernard Tekpertey dispels common misconceptions regarding blood donation.
The Black Stars player, who had an outstanding season with Bulgarian team Ludogoretz, is back in the country for vacation.
A blood drive will take place at the Athletics Oval on the campus of Ghana’s Premier University as part of the donor’s effort to support his charity and give back to society.
He urged Max 89.7 FM listeners to support the effort to replenish the Ghana Blood Bank in order to save lives, rather than believing that such exercises include using blood for immoral purposes.
In the days leading up to the exercise, 26-year-old Tekpertey has been visiting the University of Ghana and engaging with the students.
