Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has further cemented his legacy as the most powerful and influential king in Ghana.

On Monday, December 1, 2025, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II met with Mamprusi and Kusasi groups at Manhyia and had fruitful discussions.

After a 5-hour discussion, the Manyhia Palace declared a peaceful resolution, sending supporters outside into a massive celebration.

Since 2021, about 300 people have died as a result of the decades-long Bawku conflict.

Asantehene’s involvement in unifying the people of Bawku through cultural diplomacy demonstrates his role in promoting peace in political and cultural problems.

A roadmap of a lasting peaceful resolution for Bawku will be presented to President John Dramani Mahama by the Asantehene.
