Hearts of Oak and Hearts of Lions will face off in the 2024 edition of the Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup. A press conference to announce the event is set for tomorrow, Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Gbese Mantse Palace.
This special one-off cup match is an anniversary friendly held as part of the Homowo festival celebrations.
This season’s clash features Hearts of Oak and Hearts of Lions, both of whom competed in the Ghana Premier League during the 2023/24 season.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
